Where are your clothes made?
All our clothes are entirely made in France, in our workshop in the Périgord. We take care of the knitting of the fabric (1x1 rib, fleece, jersey, interlock, etc.) and the tailoring; styling, cutting and sewing of each item is done by our team directly in the workshop.
What is the link between Bonneterie du Périgord 1948 and Authentique 1948?
La Bonneterie du Périgord 1948 is the name of our workshop. There, we have developed a brand; Authentique 1948, the products of which are available on this site. We therefore offer you finished products, directly from the producer to the consumer, without intermediaries
What is your workshop’s specialty ?
Historically, the 1x1 rib T-shirts have been our signature products. Since 1948, we have been using the same machines offering incomparable quality. Only the styles have changed slightly.
What raw materials do you use?
We mainly use 100% organic cotton yarn. Our organic yarn is GOTS labeled, and our dyeing is OEKO-TEX certified. We also develop products in other materials, using always those that are natural and eco-responsible. We have chosen to work with materials that minimize our impact on the environment, for sustainable fashion.
Where are your partners located?
Our partners are located in France, whether for dyeing, material treatment, finishing or even labels. We try to use companies from the South-West, a region to which we are particularly attached.

Will your pre-order products be available at a later date?
The products that we offer for pre-order at a preferential rate will then be available as stock on our site, at the price initially indicated. Pre-orders allow us to offer you more products and in more colours.
One of your products is no longer in stock, when will it be available?
If you are interested in one of our products that is no longer in stock, you can send us an email at info@bdp1948.fr and we can give you the restock date, if applicable.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
What are the delivery times and method?
Today, we offer home deliveries by Colissimo 48h. The processing time for your order by our team is 48 hours. You will therefore receive your order between 2 and 4 working days from payment. Learn more.
To which countries do you deliver?
For the time being, we only deliver in Europe, that is to say, the member countries of the European Union as well as in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway.
What should I do if the size or the product received does not suit me?
If the product received or the size does not suit you, or you have changed your mind you can contact us at info@bdp1948.fr and we will tell you what to do.
You have 15 days from receipt of your order to contact our team.
How does delivery work if I order a product in stock and a pre-order product at the same time?
If you order an in-stock product and a pre-order product at the same time, we ship the in-stock product directly to you and we'll ship the pre-order product to you as soon as it becomes available. You only pay for one delivery, the second is free of charge.
